Sam Rheindorf, B.Sc.

I am currently studying Psychology in my seventh Master’s semester at the University of Wuppertal. I am interested in community-based and participatory approaches to research, especially within research that focuses on the lived experiences of children and adolescents facing different kinds of discrimination. Currently, my focus lies on empowerment strategies, resilience factors and support needs of trans* and non-binary youth, which I am further exploring as part of my master’s thesis. Prior to this, I worked in the fields of HIV/Aids relief and residential youth services as well as trans* and non-binary mental health care.
